Is it possible for remote call forwarding to a phantom extension?

MANY THANKS TO TOUCH TOME TOMMY FOR THIS INFO

----quoted from a Prevois TTT Post

Creating an Extension for Remote Call Forwarding

-Renumber an adjunct to become the desired Extension Number
System Renumber>Single>Adjuncts>Old Adjunct No.>Enter>New Extension No.>Enter

- Assign Authorization Code to New Extension
Extensions>More>Auth Code>Ext. No.>Enter>ÿ>Enter
(Hint: Make the Authorization Code be the same as the Extension Number)
-Enable Remote Forwarding
Remote Fwd>Extension No.>Enter

To Forward the Extension:
Go to a KEYSET, and press an SA Key
Dial #80-[Authorization Code]-#-*33-9-[Outside Telephone Number] #

I'd give TTT a star to if I could.

I setup a phantom extension to do external call forwarding (which is working great). Only problem I have is that I can't renumber the phantom extension. So, I have a 2 digit dialing plan. And, currently my office has extensions 10 - 56 as extension numbers, and 57 thru 64 as voicmail ports. When I try to renumber the phantom extension (710) to extension 65 or higher, the system just gives me an error beep, and doesn't seem to let me renumber it to anything.

I don't mind using the 3-digit phantom extension number, but the problem is that if someone dials extension 710 within the auto attendenat, they get the error "You cannot be transferred to extension 71."

Am I over looking something?

Thank you for the reply. Before I do that, will I mess anything up in the system if I do that? In other words, will people have to re-set their VM? And, will the system loose any other programming? Or is it a simple change?

Thanks again.

Strike my last question. I changed the dialing plan in my VM to three digits with no problems (that I know of yet).

Thanks for your help on everything.
