I have customer (two different business names, same receptionist) with a Partner release 6 and a Partner mail vs r5. Business A has moved to another state and business B has stayed here. Business A has their lines answered by aoto-attendant 1 and business B by AA 2. I programmed an unused ext with rcf enabled and pointed a selector code code at that extension. When business A gets a call AA 1 answers and says for business A press 9 for business B press 8. Selector code 9 transfers to my unused extension which is forwarded to new location out of state. My problem is if my unused extension gets unplugged or power drops from system my callforward gets cancelled. Is ther a better way of doing this with the voicemail they have?

Get Centrex service and do a Centrex transfer from the selector code. The call disappears from the system entirely, so you don't use up two lines for each call, and there are no call volume issues due to the conferencing.
