Hi, I'm not a phone guy, but I've taken on the job of setting up our real estate office Legend system to allow the "weekend phone duty agent" to have all calls forwarded to a cell phone. Ideally, the forwarding could be turned on remotely, but I don't believe we have a direct inbound line to the attendant. Second choice would be a labled button on the main console. Also, the number to be forward to will change each weekend.

We would want the night service attendant to offer the option "press 3 to reach the agent on duty".

Can this be done on Legend 7.0 v 10.0?

Thanks,
Drew

Wow, you might want to find a local installer to set this up for you. What you typically need to do is this:

Set the lines to Loop Start Reliable Disconnect (to allow the system to do Trunk-to-Trunk transfers)

Create a "phantom" adjunct extension

Point a selector code from the Auto Attendat to this extension.

Allow this extension Trunk-to-Trunk transfer, Remote Call Forwarding, and give it an Authorization Code.

Now you can program the telephone number for the person on call, and it's fairly easy to change. You just have to remember a special sequence:

Go to a KEYSET, and press an SA Key
Dial #80-[Authorization Code]-#-*33-9-[Outside Telephone Number] #

Finally, when callers hit the Night Auto Attendant, and press 3, the system will transfer the call to the phantom extension, which is forwarded to the outside telephone number.
