Remote Call Accounting

Because of locations and the distance, I have to dial into my Magix switches and program through winSPM. I've noticed through other threads that call accounting is performed through the SMDR port. Is it possible for me to get call accounting information remotely? What software would you suggest?

Normally you would connect the SMDR port to a local computer or call accounting system, or connect it to a 'buffer box', and then dial in to the buffer box to download the records. Are you looking to have the records in a spreadsheet or database, or a full call accounting package?

You could PC Anywhere into the call accounting PC and file transfer the reports.

You could also invest into a multi-site call accounting package. Tappit by Trysis has one.
