Hello everybody,
I have an IBM 16/4 Token Ring PCI Adapter with WOL installed in one of the servers.
In the network environment there aren't any Remote Boot Server installed. But, sometimes the card starts to send requests to some BootR Server. This behaviour forces that the network load grows without limit and at the end the network collapsed.
My questions are:
- Are there some way to stop this NIC behaviour, directly on the NIC BIOS configuration?
- On the network environment is installed Windows 2000. Which server could be installed to solve the problem and How to?
Thanks in advance and regards.
