How can I perform a backup of a remote sql server.

The reason I am asking is I have a sql server and password of the sa account but I don't have the administrator password of the machine. Unfortunately I cannot get it so cannot install a backup utility. Backing each database is time consuming.

Any idea how I can do this easily with one command ?

Am new to sql so help would be appreciated.

thanks

You can loop through all the databases showing in sysdatabases and call the BACKUP DATABASE command

Warning: check disc space prior to each backup ;-)
