Remote backup solutions

What does everybody suggest as the best practice to backup three servers to one tape drive(LTO). The servers are running 4.3.2 4.3.3 and 5.1. All suggestions are appreciated.

You can mount a NFS file system from the backup server. Mount this with automount only for the backup time....
