Remote backup of Opt 11? 2

I want to be able to backup several Meridian Opt 11 PBX's remotely? I want to keep these backups in my local office for disaster recovery. I access the systems via IP connection now but I think that there is a modem connection if that is necessary. Just to let you know I am very new to the Nortel/Meridian world! I am from the NEC side of the planet.

Here is the process:

Note: Now select toolbar menu DATA > RECEIVE FILE
Save file with meaningful name.

Personally, I make the file extension *.xbk" even those it does not need or suggest an extension.

Expect file transfer time to be up to 15 minutes with direct connection -or- over one hour via dialup.

If you dial in using Hyperterminal, do your normal backup in LD 43 to make sure you have all the latest changes stored.
Go to LD 143 and type XBK, enter a name for the file at the next prompt, it will then come back to the > prompt,
Click transfer/receive file name the file in the new box that pops up and direct it where you want to store it. ..... then wait. It will take a long time to download the file, possibly an hour or more, depending on the speed of your connection and the size of the opt 11. The process is the same over IP but would be much faster if you have the option to download the file in this way with the program you are using.

when download is finished, the download box will go away and an OK will show at the prompt.
