Hey Everyone,
I need a method for consolidating all of my exchange server's backups to our datacenter. When Exchange 2010 is rolled out, we will 11 mailbox servers dispersed throughout the US. I know most of you would prefer to have all of the Exchange servers live in the Datacenter, but it really isnt an option for us. DAG's wouldnt be feasible because of the network latency, and limited bandwidth.
We need to keep current backups of these exchange servers. What would be the best method for doing these backups. We are limited on bandwidth, so ideally we would like to only replicate over the delta changes to our datacenter. Would there be a way of keeping a lagged replica of the mailbox databases here, and then backing that up regularly? Does anyone have a better way of doing this?
