Remote Back up

Hi all!

I have a server with Arcserver 6.5 running under Win NT, I'm in the process to build up a new application server that will be running under win 2000. Can I do a backup of my Win 2000 server from my Win NT4 server?
This problem is because I don't have a tape device for my new server.

You can backup the w2k machine over the network ie through the c$ etc shares but you won't be able to use a w2k agent installed on the w2k machine.

When backing up over the network, be aware of the bandwidth hit on your network and that the throughput will be seriously reduced. If you've got alot of data (say more than 25GB) over a 10 meg network, you may struggle to back it up in time over night.
