I am working with a 2008 remote application environment. The application I have setup contains calls to various other applications such as Internet Explorer. However, this will cause the IE instance to be launched from the terminal server session. This is fine, but is there a way to have the application call the client instance of an application instead of on the terminal session, assuming no coding modifications to be made on the application?

Not that I'm aware of. What you need to keep in mind is that the application is actually running on the terminal server, not the local PC, even if it appears to be running on the local PC.

That was what I had figured to be the case considering it's merely a screen paint on the local side. I had considered exploring something in the DVC realm but that would most likely require some sort of modification to the behaviour of the application.
