i have a merlin legend 7.0 that has a remote analog ext in another state the customer wants to get rid of the fxo line and use a 64k circuit dedicated just for the ext. what equipment would i need to make this work. the other site has it's own non magix system.

Multi Tech Systems provides things like this.

You may want to check out their website.

You might also consider a Cisco 1750 or similar device. You can get up to six simultaneous call on a 64k point-to-point using voice compression.

The compression algorithms used in common voice boxes today are not only fast, but have a high "perceived audio quality" as well.
