Remote Aloha Manager-Reprint Check Greyed Out

Have a customer with a remote setup of Aloha Manager in the accountant's office next door. Everything seems to be working normally, except when he tries to reprint, the Aloha Reprint program opens up, but the options (guest check, checkout, payment reconciliation) are all greyed out and can't be clicked. Assuming this has something to do with the reprint program being separate from Aloha Manager. Anybody seen this or have a workaround? The site is on 6.7.67. Thanks.

Remote setup? You do realize Aloha manager only works for a database on the actual BOH machine that runs the POS system right?

Can you please elaborate more about what you mean when you say remote setup of Aloha Manager.

Are you referring to they have a remote connection into the boh machine that has Aloha Manager?

Nick, have you checked the boh security settings for the accountant. Sometimes they are grayed out when they dont have access to run them. That would be my first thought.

Security Roles are not the issue. Have tried logging in under multiple accounts in Aloha Manager all have access to Reprint feature. When security setting is not enabled the option for Reprint doesn't show up at all.

Nick, try this trick. It seems to work for me
Add the reprint program to desktop as short cut.
Then go into properties and at end of target line add /remote like I have pictured

Report if that works.

Thanks Ross, somehow it seems to have started magically working on it's own, but if the problem occurs again, I will give this a shot. Looks like exactly what I needed.
