Backup Exec 9.1 was running on an old server. It backed up several 2003 servers via Remote Agents.
I wanted to move Backup Exec to a newer server. Downloaded a copy from Veritas, installed it using the same serial number, as my old copy. Took my old server down.
Then, I went to setup a backup selection, and I can't select my servers with remote agents. Do I have to do something else to those remote agents?

Also, VXA-2 1/10 autoloader was attached to the old server. I attached it to the new server. Did not install Exabyte driver. (I thought Backup Exec will install its own driver) Backup Exec installed a VXA-2 driver, but did not install an autoloader driver. (in my old server there are two drivers in device manager - VXA-2 driver and autoloader driver). In Backup Exec I do not see an autoloader. It is displayed as a standalone drive.
Thank you in advance.

Autoloader appeared in Backup Exec after installing Backup Exec service pack 5.

Backup agents were not recognized because there were no appropriate licenses (serial numbers) installed on the media server. When I installed Backup Exec on the server, I only gave it the main serial number, needed to install the software. Later I found more serial numbers (one for Exchange agent, and one for server agent) and added those too. After I added those, I could select data on servers running remote agents.
