Hi guys running SBS 2000 with a netgear switch and netgear hub attached to the switch - i have 20 clients hanging off the Switch/ hub combination.
One of the ports in the patch panel is connected to the hub , the port is for a remote (office next door) Router/modem connected to its own server (pc really with outlook) and ADSL pay as you use Dial up account.
For some reason the Router/Modem is being told to redial every time the Server(sbs2000)with exchange goes to get corporate email 0 it is costing them thousands of dollars. The modem Router is also an netgear device.
How do i stop the remote modem router accepting this request - but still available to accept local requests (from the Pc with Outlook) ?
You help appreciated - cheers
