im new to linux.. is there some remote administrator for Linux (slackware), like in windows VNC, RemoteAdministrator etc?

Who wants old school? SSH and vi.

Just kidding, I use vnc and webmin also. Although I usually change my webmin port, so sometimes I forget the orginial is 10000.

You can also set up VNC to spawn sessions like Terminal Server can.

IIRC VNC isn't encrypted, so I use SSH, like Kozusnik mentioned. VNC may be OK for use on the local LAN, but I don't know about remote admin from the internet.... just my opinion.
