I have Exchange Administrator setup and running on my desktop. I can administer just about everything EXCEPT recipient mailbox permissions - the tab just does not show up. If I run Exchange Admin on the Exchange Server, it's there, but not remotely. I have myself as Permissions Admin at both the container and the site level. Am I doing something wrong, or is this by design?

Thanks in advance,

Scott

Check under options on your ExAdmim (desktop). There is an checkbox udner tools-->options to view permissions tab. Mantislee

Can you do this on a machine other than server... Say for instance win2k prof.

Yes. You can do it on any machine that you have Exchange Admin installed on. To install just ExAdmin run the Ex5.5 setup and do a custom install and only check off the administrator option.
