When in office, our customer service team manages auto-attendant greetings by dialing Feature 983, then entering the admin mailbox and passcode. At this point, they are then able to access or change Greetings 1, 2, and 3.
How can we do the same remotely?
We have tried calling in, entering ** while the auto-attendant message is playing and then logging in to the same admin mailbox as above. From there, we select option 8, then option 2 to administer greetings. But, here, we are asked to choose between the Primary and Alternate greetings, and no amount of changes in this area have any effect on the greeting actually played by the auto-attendant when calling back in to test.
