our server runs windows 2000 advanced server, sumtimes we have trouble getting the screen of a 95 machine, we are sofeware vendors for pharmacies so they need to connect to us for their price and medical aid updates... they need to have tcp/ip and netbios on to enable the updates,
even when they do have it switched on, and we go into dos to map a network drive to our pc, we get the error
"you have to be logged on to perform this opperation"
and yes, they are logged on as the correct user...
we found that sumtimes it helps to create another user in the control pannel's users...
but then again you get those users who didn't install the networking part of the cd, thus the users option isn't there... what to do?
