I have end users on Windows 98/2000 workstations using dial-up networking to connect to our network from home. We are using a cisco 3640 access router and radius for authentication.
- you double click on the dial-up icon
- enter username and password
- a connection is made and the after dial terminal window appears
- here you enter your RADIUS username and passcode
- press enter
- now the workstation begins to enter ppp mode, gets an IP adress, etc.
- a bunch of characters appear on the screen as the negotiation process occurs
- the user must then press the 'done' button in order to get into the network otherwise a 'script halted' message appears.
Is there any way around the user having to press the done button and automatically have the terminal window close and let the user into the network?
