Hello, I have a pc at my office to which I want to have access to my shared folder from anywhere using the internet. I have DSL, a wireless D-Link Router, and two computers connected to the network (one wireless and one wired). I have dynamic ip, but I have registered with no-ip.com to obtain a dns that will redirect to my pc's ip. I have also downloaded the program that checks if automatically if the machine's ip has change. Well the problem is that I am stuck on the router configuration, since I was reading that I need to port foward port 3389 to my machine's ip. Is that correct???? If so, how do I port foward the port on the D-Link???? I know I have seen that tab on the Linksys configuration page, but I don't seem to find it on my D-Link. Any help or any ideas?????

Port 3389 is used for Remote Desktop, so all you have to do is open that port/point it to you pc ip address it is getting from your router IE (192.168.0.X). After you have done that then all you need is you public IP to connect when ever your off site.
