I have a controller on 192.168.1.2

internal data network is 192.168.30.0

Have statically assigned ip add to wan port of 192.168.30.150 wan access is enabled.

Have asked i.t guy to port forward the router (30.254) with any incomming tcp from my static ip.

should i now be able to browse from here to the 3300.(i am entering static ip of their router) ????

I am obviously doing something wrong.

from the router, we can ping 192.168.30.150 (wan port) from the rtc i cannot ping 192.168.30.150

router is plugged directly into the wan port with an adsl connection.

i see there is a port forwarding table... does this have to be populated? The internal routing is failing somewhere...

R8.2 CXI

any help would be really appreciated

You need to make a pptp account
Then make a vpnconnection in windows with the settings you used
Then you can remote access it
