remote access to Win2K server not to terminal server

Hi. We switched from Novell to Windows 2000 server. Everything works great right now. We want to be able to remote access to the Win2K server but the thing is, they also have a separate terminal server which is already using port 3389. So everytime we try to connect to them, we get the WinNT Terminal Server. How do we access only the Win2K machine? We tried changing the listening port to something else (

) but it didn't work... is it possible to do what we want? HOW?
