I am using a remote tool to access the W2K Server from my workstation. When I make changes in the active directory, about 2-3 times a day the screen turns black and the active directory menu is shown reverse. I cannot cancel those tasks from my workstation anymore and I have to restart the server to "solve" the problem. Does anybody know about this problem and has a clue how to solve it?

What remote tool are you using?

The Terminal services?

What Active Directory Menu are you talking about? Sites and Services or Users and Computers or Domains and Trusts?

The remote tool I'm using is: ON COMMAND REMOTE and I'm talking about the the USERS in the Active Directory Menu.

I use Terminal Services and i have no problems.

I use terminal services also and it works almost flawless. I have one rogue machine that gives me problems. I highly recommend this for remote administration. I used to use PCAnywhere but I dumped it for Terminal Services.
