Remote access to PACS problem 1

I have a customer with a R8 ACS and am not able to remote access into it- I read all of the threads about the 308EC boards with the 08 serial numbers but my customer has a 308 with an 06 serial number. If I remove the 308 from slot 1 I can remote into it. I have a Partner Messaging in slot 2 but not sure if the customer will go for having a gap in the extensions and having to have new exts. and new vm boxes. According to the threads about this the 06 boards should be ok. ANy ideas??

I haven't run into this problem, but if access is consistent with the 308EC removed, I would swap it out and see what happens.

Using a 206 module in Slot 1 will solve the connection problem and keep the dial plan the same. Move the 308 over a slot, if it is needed.

Thanks everyone! The customer has been given a quote for a refurb 206 and will decide what they want to do.
