The network that I've set up consists of a Windows 2003 File/Domain Server, and a Windows 2003 Exchange Server, and several desktop/latop computers with a Sonic Wall Pro 2040.
Everything is great inside the network, however when I take any of the 6 laptops that are members of the domain and attempt to connect via the Sonic Wall, I get the following problem:
If I log into the laptop as the Domain User configured on the laptop, and then connect the Sonic Wall Client, I can reach exchange email via Outlook. I can also ping computers and servers on the network by name/number but I can not access files on any computer.
If I am prompted for a username/password I retype the exisiting credentials and I recieve the error that No domain Server is available.
However, if I log into the laptop as a local user to the laptop, then everything works great. But then I am having to track two different profiles.
Is there a way to use the domain profile to access files? All the laptops give me the same error, and are running the latest Sonic Wall Client, and Windows XP Pro SP2.
Sorry for the verbose description, and thanks in advance.
Andy
