Gents,

I have a S8500 with G450 setup, basic stuff with 50 users. Problems with Voice quality, suspect it is LAN, but asked to check our end.

2 Questions.

1) I can dial into the USB modem, hook up to the S8500 with no problem. Only things I can see is that the call control settings on the Diff serv values is 26 rather than 46. Also call control proirity is 3 rather than matching the audio (5). Do you think I should change these to match 46,6 and will this effcet anything else. Don't want to make issue worse.

2) Wanted to check the G-450 settings, but how do I access it via modem. On attempting to telnet from orgiginal link to modem, only reach CM. Via go-shell then telent to G-450, get refused. Looked in doc's and searched FAQ etc with no clear answer. Site miles away so cannot really tavel there

Any advice would be much apprecaited.

Thanks in advance

answer question 2?
maybe this...
go shell
ssh root@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (IP-adress of G450)

Try enabling telnet from the web browser that could do the trick.

Gents

the ssh root@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx did the trick.

Telnet was enabled.

Great, thanks for that.

Anyone any ideas on questions 1?

All thoughts are welcomed and apreciated

In the G700 the QOS settings are taken from the IP network reigon. I assume the G450 is the same however I've yet to dial into one. Do you have QOS on your network?
