How do I gain access to my unix os using a dsl connection? I can gain temporary access using a phone line and EM320 emulation, but I need to be connected 8 hours/day and the phone connection is long distance and cost prohibitive.

Can I install an ethernet card into my unix box and access?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Yep.

You'll have to give your DSL provider the MAC address of the computer you are adding so they can add it (some isp's let you do it yourself)

Then you'll ahve to set the Unix host to DHCP (unless you pay for a static IP)

Good luck!
