Basic connectivity over a VPN to our ver 3.5 BCM isn't working. The BCM has a static IP on LAN behind firewall.
1. I cannot ping the BCM over the VPN, though I can ping every other server on the LAN over the VPN. (The BCM can be pinged on the LAN)
2. I cannot run Unified Manager over VPN

Is there some setting on the BCM to allow remote administration and/or response?

The real project is implementing VOIP w i2002 connected to Branch office via VPN connection, however w/o basic connectivity tweaking the Firewall ports for VOIP seems futile.

Thanks

Create a static route on the LAN1 interface for 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 next hop is your router.

Note, this is not a persistent route, you will need to recreate it every time you reboot the BCM.

Or, using VNC, goto the network settings and set the default gateway of the LAN1 interface.

IT is a BCM 1000 with a 1000E expansion unit. Upgraded to ver 3.5.
