remote access opt11 and 81

I have just recieved a new lap top from company and running procom I hve also installed new modem in sites (telltronics ) I can not connect to these or any other sites it connects but get nothing back is there a setting in procom or internal modem so if any one can help with either config required please help.Also on the systems do i need to have the modem nulifier on the back of the modem

You only use a NUL Modem when you don't have a modem.

What are your Modems set for? (9600, 8, N, 1)

What are your TTY port for modem ste for?

Is the modem in your Laptop a software or Hardware modem?

I have found most software modems don't work for me.

Are you connecting to an SEB type modem? You won't get any response until you enter the password.

if you are dialing into a core modem you have to make sure you are on the active core.
