Remote access on XP home edition?

I'm not sure if I can do this or how...

I have a Win XP home edition computer as well as my employer. Can we remote to each other's machines back and forth to share files and such?

If so, how?

The best way to do is setup VPN so that you can share each other. Or install free software VNC. These links may help,
