Suddenly I cannot access multiple partner systems I've been logging into for years. I verified remote password with the customer.

I'm getting connected and hear modem handshake, then get a "Connected at 14400bps" message, but not prompted for a password.

Can anyone verify my modem settings on my laptop? It's an old one with Windows XP using a Lucent Win Modem. Keep it just for PACS and Magix Admin.
Current settings are:
max port speed 9600
data protocol: Standard EC
Compression: Enabled
Flow Control: Hardware
Data Bits: 8
Parity: none
Stop Bits: 1
Modulation: Standard

Advanced Port Settings: FIFO buffers are not enabled
thanks in advance!

If any of them or yourself switched to phone service that is not on copper trunks, like Verizon fios, comcast or any other that has a VoIP backbone it probably won't work.

I have had Verizon FiOS at home for many years. No problems remote accessing Merlin Magix systems. Never been able to remote into a Partner ACS...but that doesn't surprise me.

Thank you all for suggestions and input. I tried various settings and suddenly it started working again, then it didn't, now it does. Never have problems with Magix - even when I use the Partner modem settings. I'm a bit frustrated with Avaya at this point as IP Office continues to be disappointing.
Thanks again for your input.
