Remote Access Magix Problem

Ok, I have set up remote access programming. Now I am getting an "Out of Service" error when I try to connect to my system. Any suggestions? I set the number and set an 8 second pause, then *10. This sound right? Because my laptop has no line out on the modem, I cannot hear what is happening.

Have you tried dialing it manualy to make sure that you are reaching the tones of the modem? Is you barrier code programed?

Do you have Merlin Messaging?

Mongo or I can tell you another way to do it besides RA.

Yes I have tried manually dialing the number, I do get the modem carrier when I dial *10 after the C.O. picks up. I programmed for a barriercode not to be required as remote access will be removed when I finish the install. And merlinman, I do have MM on the system as well.

As I have stated on previous posts, I have one client whose modem connection only works sometimes.

Because of that, I will be driving over there tomorrow just to do some simple programming.

While I'm there, I'll do a reset on the Modem in Maint.
