Remote Access Issues

Hello all, I'm running into a problem accessing one of my customer sites remotely. When I dial in, I get the stutter tone, I enter the barrier code, *10, and get the password box. The problem is that when I start to enter the password, I enter 2 or 3 characters and it then kicks it back with the invalid password error message. I try again and it then disconnects me completely. This site recently went from CO's to a channel bank, and the quality is noticably different. Anyone else ever experience this issue?
 
try using an external 28.8 modem from US Robitics. a lot of internal modems dont play nice with legend/magix's. we use to have the same problems and after switching to an external havent had 1 problem.
 
I'm using an external 56k US Robotics which connected fine before the change. I have a 33.6 & a 14.4 I can try as well. You're thinking less is better?
 
WinSPM only connects at 2400. That said, I have a couple of sites that I cannot connect to via dialup, but just fine on site through a Tip/Ring port. Seems to be line issues at the customer's site. Sometimes gong in through a different line will cure the problem.
 
Was the channel bank provided/installed by Telco or another service provider?

Does the problems happen on all lines?

Since you say the problem started after conversion, I would point my finger in that direction.

Would it be possible to install a DS1 module in the Legend and terminate the T1 that way, thus eliminating the CB completely? Or are some channels shared or other configuration?

Syquest, yes that's it, it's a split T1, half voice, half data.
