Hello, I need to access files on a win 98 machine at work from my win xp machine at home, how do I go about doing this? Any help welcome.

Thanks

Laurence.

Hello SSL:

Buy Symantec's pcAnywhere bundled with host and remote copies

pcAnywhere host will be installed in Win98 and remote on WinXP

With pcAnywhere waiting at host, you can connect from WinXP either via TCP/IP (if you have broadband connectivity at your office) or modem

Since we have a site licence I tried out the "Remote Administrator" program. I really like it, and its easy to set up and use. see
