Does anyone know what 'remote access administered logoff y/n'? means. Never seen this before when logging off from DSA.

Thanks

Remote Access permits a caller located outside the system to access the switch
through the public or private network and then use the features and services of the
system.
Remote Access users can dial into the system using central office (CO), Foreign
Exchange (FX), Wide Area Telecommunications trunks (WATS), and Integrated
Services Digital Network Primary Rate Interface (ISDN-PRI) trunks. In addition,
a dedicated Remote Access Direct Inward Dialing number can be provided.

To set up remote access:

Verify that the Authorization Codes field on the System Parameters Customer Options screen is set to y.
Verify that the SVN Authorization Code Violation Notification Enabled field on the Security-Related System Parameters screen is set to y.

1. Type change remote-access and press RETURN.
The Remote Access screen appears.

It's probably activated so you get the message.

Sounds like you are in the "change login" screen. It's asking if you want that login to recieve a warning message if "remote access" is administered every time the user logs off. -CL

Found out that someone from our service support vendor had logged in via INADS under the login name of'inads' shown under 'list hist'. The history log showed they had changed system-param features, ch rem access making it accessible with a password of 1234 for 100 worth of calls?? also there were two changes to different CORs. Bit concerned about this as remote accesx was not administered before yesterday. Left quite a big gap in the switch's security. I will find out tomorrow why this had been done especially why they would want to change CORs and remote-access without notifying me. Is there anyway of finding out exactly what changes they did to things like the COR and system-param features as the log only shows the command entered?

Thanks
