Hey everyone. Had a quick question and hope someone can help. We have a computer that runs a power point presentation that constantly runs and is accessed by remote access. But when we access the computer (using remote access) to make changes to the presentation and log out, the screen is stuck on the screen saver. The only way we have figured out to fix it is to restart the computer. (which is located in the ceiling and is a hassle to do)

I have gone through the properties on the computer and changed it where there is never suppose to be a screen saver pop up.
The computer is running Windows XP.

Any ideas?

How many user accounts are you allowing to simultainiusly log in? I'm going to go out on a limb here with a SWAG.(stupid wild ass guess). If the PC that is running the PPP is started with lets say, the admin login, and you use the same login for the RDT, loging out one may be logging out the other? I have no way to test this theory. If it were my delema I would try setting up the active (local) login as a super user account and use the admin account for the RDT login.I would use a different desktop background so you have a visual referance to which user account you are looking at in the RDT session. If I understand your post correctly, it's the local PC that goes to sleep. If the login is not active RDT can't access. Correct?
