Remote 1608-I Phones Keep Rebooting

We have 1608-I IP phones to be deployed in a remote office via VPN. Sonicwall devices are linking the 2 offices and we can ping the IP Office from remote site. Problem is when we connect the 1608 they reboot after we press * to Program.

How can we get past this?

Did it ask for a p/w? And what did you put.

Older firmware doesn't have on, the newer one need CRAFT (27238) as a p/w. It will reboot straight away if you get it wrong.
