Hello everybody,
As a new user of Linux, I need advice about the best way can I use to dial-in and log-on my Linux box from outside the LAN. To ftp and telnet my machine via modem when am outside.

You can configure ppp daemon in Linux server.
After that you can dial to your Linux server for doing your job.
