I have a pretty solid gigabit network running off a Win3k server. It was a pain in the ass to give Macs access but finally I did it.

Now the problem is files accessed by Macs. If I view a list of open files on the server, every file the Macs have touched have a copy of that file with a ._ on the front of the file name listed. Another user can open the real file but not save until I mannually close the ._ version. Is there anyway to avoid this all together or regularly clean out the open file list?
