One of our clients is getting a message when he opens the IE page to our intranet. "Microsoft Internet Explorer reminder 'you have an extended leave message' "He clicks OK and is able to access the intranet. He doesn't get this message when going to the internet. I can't find anywhere that refers to a reminder or extended leave message in IE 6 or on Technet.
Any ideas?

Try looking under Tools, Internet Options, Programs. It sounds like something is talking to IE, like a calendar/scheduling funciton from another prog. You should see suspect entries displayed on the Programs tab. Toggle them out of existence one by one to locate the culprit ('course you should write them down, just in case you've got to reapply them).
