report has a field in a frame .
(frame is enclosed in a rectangle.)

If the field value is having more than 6 rows it should print that remaining value of that section on next page .

right now it prints only 6 row values and ignores other
values if present

I tried page protect ,vertical elasticity ....nothing works..............

Any suggestons on this ....

Thanks

Check the 'Print Object On' property of the first frame.
You can set this to 'First Page' and also set 'Base Printing On' to 'Enclosing Object'.
That should do!

You might think that a 'Print Object On' property of 'All Pages' for the top-most (root) frame necessarily implies inclusion of the first-page. But that evidently is not so.

Here's an Oracle read from reports-help that should make it clear why..:
Topic: Print Object On restrictions:
Caution: If its contents cannot fit within the logical page on which it starts to print, an object with a Print Object On of All Pages, All But First Page, or All But Last Page cannot overflow onto subsequent pages. In this case, the contents of the object will be truncated and the object will print with the same, truncated contents on every logical page it is triggered to print.
