I have a need to relocate my Windows 2000 server from one intranet segment to another. I attempted to relocate it recently but the attempt failed. I changed the IP Address and subnet mask but I was unable to get to the internet on this new segment. I have another server on this segment and I can get to an from this other server.

Is there anything in the configuration of the server that I need to modify in order to relocate to a new intranet segment?

If you changed the IP address/subnet mask, did you ensure that you are using the same default g/w for the intranet subnet? Compare another server on the same subnet for default G/W, subnet mask, DNS settings, etc.
