I have a PCI RAID card from TOPSEARCH Mod. #TS-M-8VO1C.
I think my MBOARD is dead. I want to put the card and two RAID 1 drives in another PC (set the PC to boot from PCI and put the two drives in) - will I lose my data? Has anyone successfully done this and preserved the RAID and data? Any pointers would be appreciated.
While my handle is dadaintdumb, I am a hardware novice.

Thanks.
Dave.

Please advise if I should post this in a different forum.
Thanks.

If another machine recognizes the card, the raid should work. Maintain the drive order on the cable. If your running Windows OS, your main issue will be the OS balking at the hardware changes.
