I'm setting up a new employee at an existing work station. I've moved out the phone of the other employee and put in a new phone which shows as the older employee on other phone displays. I've checked the "automatic relocation" and it is activated.
So I guess the basic question is; how do I set-up the new phone to ring at the previously used location, using a new extention number?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi
do you want the old incoming ext number to ring at the new user ?

Colin Colin

No, I want a new extension to ring at the old location (i.e. currently ext. 237, want it to be 236), and the old one (237) to be moved to a different location.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi
my first thought would be to move the jumpers around on the Krone strip
otherwise change the DN 237 to 236 then rewire 237 to the new position, btw are these analog or digital and what PABX do you have

Whoa! Way to technical for me. I used to be able to just move a phone to a new location (previously used location) and it would work under a different extension number. Looks like I'll have to call in the pros.
