Hi all.
Lately i find out that some of the hard disk show high I/O usage. I plan to perform datafile relocation for those few disk. the server is running Solaris 5.6 with Oracle 8.0.5 install as database. The SAP R3 version is 4.0.
First i plan to remove the datafile manually wihtout using the SAPDBA tools by alter the datafile to offline mode than rename it, than perform a recover and make it online. But this method no advisable.
If i want to use the SAPDBA tools to do so, what is the step i need to follow and how i going to do so. Thank you all..
