Welp, the SS problems just keep going. I was trying to re-install the Linux base to the actual card. I downloaded:

nortel-cs1000-linuxbase-7.00.20.00_cf.zip

Then I extracted that file and ran the:

nortel-cs1000-linuxbase-7.00.20.00_cf\utilities\mkbootrmd.bat

To create a bootable USB drive for the CPDC card. I went to the switch and plugged into the Port 0, and restarted the card. I was able to push F then boot from the thumb drive, when attempting to install the Linux base I keep getting Assertion errors, here is a screen shot:

Then it goes through and says installation closed unexpectedly, and says it is ready to re-boot, when I do reboot though, it doesn't have the Linux installed, or at least doesn't start up.

Thoughts? Ideas? Anyone ran into this before?

Ok, I got the linux base reloaded and I am deploying SS on it . . the problem is when I go to add a new node and give it the SIP Line Application, it tells me there are no SS's available to add to it . . thoughts?

You have to add the SS to the CS1000 system before you can commit and deploy the server. There is a tab on the right side of that screen which will let you create a new CS1000 system.
