Features and Functionality
The CS1000 7.0 Release builds on the existing CS1000 Solution.
This is to provide an overview of the solution and solicit your interest in trialing the new features.
CS1000 Release 7.0 Introduces:
• New hardware – CallProcessorMediaGateway (CPMG), CallProcessorDualCore (CPDC)
• Simplification of CS1000 solution for reduced TCO with Unified Communications Management progress.
• Supports the transition to Unified Communications – continued integration with Microsoft & IBM solutions as well as the native IM & Presence UC Solution.
New Software features include:
• High Scalability - Increase number of end users to over 100,000+ endpoints to address large scale UC deployments.
• Survivable SIP media gateway - a premium survivable branch office solution that builds on the feature rich CS1000 SIP media gateway and enhances the solution by supporting, as an example, the following: network wide IP subscriber database replication, embedded IP Media services, 511 survivable sip media gateway end points. Resulting in a more efficient, robust and network capable solution that also delivers improved TCO for customers.
• IP Media Services - delivers and enables IP based media services such as RAN, music, ad-hoc conferencing and IP attendant console. The solution is software based and is highly scalable, resilient and is a network based resource that enables the delivery of geographically dispersed and localized services (e.g. unique and local MOH/RAN) for a user community.
• IP Attendant Console - Eliminate the need for digital line cards, media gateways: 100% IP
• Sip Trunking (SIP Bridge) a new software module that improves and simplifies the implementation and utilization of Carrier SIP trunking to the CS1000 Enterprise.
• IPV6 - Dual Stack, IPv6 and IPv4
• Management and Security Supporting Scalability
• SIP Line and IM & Presence Evolution
• IP Line Enhancements
New Hardware includes:
• CPMG Hardware - Simplification – Combined CPPM and MGC with 128 DSP's
• CPDC - Dual Core, high performance for Highscale, survivability, and UC deployments
• New 19" Rack Mount Servers available for Call Server and Applications servers
Go For It Even If It's Impossible !
