Is it me or has BCM 50 Release 6 SU 005 vanished from the Avaya site? I sometimes find that site of variable quality.

I must admit I did have problems installing it on a BCM 50 - I am wondering due to hard drive space, but was able to recover, so wonder if they have pulled it.

Same here. I looked last night and the only 450 R6 patch listed is 003. I have 005 on my PC so I patched a system I just started installing and now I'm getting a recurring error saying the voip gateway stopped unexpectedly and the system won't recognize my PRI card in slot 4

I heard 005 is a defective patch and that's why it got pulled last week. Not sure. Just what I heard.

SU5 was pulled because it produced adverse effects on voip trunking. In some cases, it also affects the feps service. If you get errors in the alarm log saying "voip gateway stopped enexpedly etc etc feps is attempting to restart" or something to that effect, then you have the problem. When you reboot the system, instead of the status light switching to solid green, it stays flashing until you log in and clear the alarm log and reset the indicators. It then goes to solid green as normal.

There is supposed to be a patch coming out next week that fixes that particular issue and the voip trunking part will be corrected in SU6.

I downloaded from Avaya tech page

BCM050.R600.SU.System-003.201101-2

and successfully uploaded to my BCM50 6.0. System seems fine with this SU.
