I from Portugal and I work with IPOffice since the old Alchemy.
And I don’t understand why today before 5 years the IPOffice still with basic problems. like:
Hunt-Group in hunt mode;
If pickup a call from any station ring and that call is with restrict number I don’t see the name of the hunt-group I pickup that call.
Why need to see the name of the group? e.g.: My core business is offer one telephony system to a different companies and same times when is nobody on that company I have people to pickup the call and I need to personalize the answer to the people call to that company.
Phone Manager restricts de functions forward;
Why need restrict that function? e.g.: Because when use the phone manager for agents I wont anybody forward to a colleague or other forward.
IP Phones don’t need the password after made the login;
On any IP Phone after made login I need put the password previous configure on the user but if I wrong the password or do nothing the phone registry on the system.
Why need password? e.g.: Because after I live from my office I don’t won’t anybody make calls. Or if I wrong and I put other extension and that extension is on call.
When I install the new admin software I chose “install in English”, my OS are XP in Portuguese Portugal, when open for the first time the Manager are in Brazilian Portuguese.
Those Portuguese languages are similar but different I prefer the English version.
What I need do, to install in English.
Merge Config change the state of the agents
When need to do merge config the agents change the state
e.g.: have 3 agents in lunch outside of office the state of that agents are “DoNotDisturd” and I have 4 agents in busy wrap up if I made a merge config the state of the agents change to “ready”.
Calls still in queue after voice mail answer the call, and only finish the queue when the caller disconnects the call.
In reporting still have reports don’t work
e.g.: Why the pilot reports still appear if doesn’t work? The reports are not consistent with other information.
Delta Server still stops without any reason.
Why and what for delta server needs extensions between 8897 to 9999?
Probably these questions need an answer from Avaya development.
If someone knows au resolves these problems please tell me because I need this in Portugal.
If anybody never see these problems please try and see what you obtain.
